PCEX Automotive Wins the 2025 SME of the Year Award in Alicante

The Alicante Chamber of Commerce honors the company with the main award after years of expansion, digitalization, and commitment to the development of the automotive sector.

Alicante, July 2, 2025 – PCEX Automotive has been awarded the 2025 SME of the Year Award in Alicante, granted by the Alicante Chamber of Commerce and the Alcoy Chamber of Commerce, with the participation of Banco Santander. This award recognizes the small or medium-sized enterprise that has stood out the most in terms of growth, job creation, international projection, and innovation. The prize was presented at a ceremony held on Tuesday, July 2, at the Alicante Archaeological Museum (MARQ).

The award marks another milestone for the Alicante-based company, which had previously been recognized by the same institution with the Internationalization Award in 2022 and the Digitalization and Innovation Award in 2024, further consolidating a business trajectory defined by excellence and a strong commitment to the evolution of the automotive parts sector.

“Submitting an application for an award like this is a challenge in itself, because it forces you to look back and reflect on why a company like PCEX Automotive might deserve such recognition. In my case, this exercise confirmed that the key has been reinvesting profits for 13 years into the group itself and the region where we operate. I am convinced this has been the best strategy we could follow,” said David Santiago, founder and CEO of PCEX Automotive, upon receiving the award.

Sustained Growth with a Global Vision

Since its founding in 2012, PCEX Automotive’s evolution has been shaped by a combination of strategic vision and technological innovation. What began as a project focused on representing automotive brands in complex international markets has become a well-established company with a presence in more than 40 countries across Europe, Africa, the Americas, and the Middle East.

In 2024, the company closed the year with revenues of €44.3 million, a 98% export rate, and 45% growth in international business over the last few years. The company has positioned itself as a strategic partner to leading global manufacturers, offering value-added solutions that integrate innovation, traceability, and logistical efficiency. This international expansion model has been made possible through a deep digital transformation process, which has reshaped operations and enabled the company to scale while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and customization.

Looking Ahead: Expansion in Asia and Latin America

Backed by the 2025 SME of the Year Award, PCEX Automotive is now setting its sights on new challenges. The group has active expansion plans in Asia and Latin America, two key regions for the growth of the automotive and spare parts sectors. It is also strengthening its technological and logistical infrastructure to navigate an increasingly competitive and dynamic global landscape.

“Personally, I’ve always had a clear goal: to build a business model that does things differently — a company that excels in the present while also aiming for a more sustainable future. That’s why this award is not just another recognition for us; it’s a sign that the path to excellence is both possible and necessary,” concluded David Santiago.

With this award, PCEX Automotive will now compete for the 2025 National SME of the Year Award, which recognizes the best small or medium-sized enterprise in all of Spain.
